Welcome to the Big River Room. At this establishment gather some of the most important people in the world - you, our customers. They do so because they are not interested in "fast food". Neither are we. Rather, we focus our efforts on the quality of our food.

Good food is not cheap and cheap food is generally not very good. For this reason we take special care in the selection and preparation of our meats, fish and seafood. Our stock items such as onion rings, french fries and cheese curds are prepared daily from fresh ingredients, never from processed ones. The food we serve takes time to prepare, especially on an individual basis. If you cannot wait, please do not order because quality is our most important product.

We are very pleased to announce the completion of our massive remodeling project. As many of you know we've spent the past few years working to the point of operating two businesses in one. We have completely gutted the Blackhorse Horse Bar and Restaurant and enhanced upon the ambiance that once existed at the Blackhorse years ago. We welcome you back and hope you enjoy the improvements, food, entertainment, and the new name.

The Big River Room
Our new dinning area is reminiscent of the traditional supper clubs of yesteryear; true fine dining at it's best. Slip into the Big River Room for a variety of entree's prepared fresh by our chefs daily. We'll feature several items on the new menu that will continue to evolve as the seasons change.

Looking for a place to host your wedding or corporate functions? Look no further than the Big River Room. We have the perfect setting for large and small functions any day of the week.

We have also refurbished the original white stone fireplace specifically requested by many of you the patrons of the original Blackhorse Bar and Restaurant.

The River Rocks
The 'Horse as many of you know it! The main room continues to be the place for Winona's best entertainment. This fall we bring back live stand-up comedy to the Winona area. Friday nights we play host to today's up-and-coming comedians from around the nation. Saturdays we'll fill our dance floor with the regions best bands.

Tickets for our weekly events can be purchased in advance by stopping by the The River Rocks prior to the show. Tickets are also available at the door. No table reservations will be made for any shows at The River Rocks unless noted.
